Kick Your Cocktail's Carbs to the Curb:

A List of My Top No Carb Keto Cocktail Recipes

Following a low or no-carb lifestyle can be hard enough as it is, but when you find out that the majority of your favorite cocktails are loaded down with carbs...the horror! I cut sugar and most carbs out of my diet long ago. As a lover of delicious craft cocktails, I just had to come up with my own no carb and keto-friendly versions. Like a chemist in a lab, I've experimented time and time again with different ratios of ingredients and sugar alternatives to create the most delicious keto cocktails. I am also a complete health nut, therefore all of the ingredients I use are the healthiest and cleanest available. Whether you're just relaxing after a long day of work or throwing a dinner party for friends and family, you are sure to enjoy these guilt-free cocktails. Get ready for your mind to be blown and your tastebuds to be pleasantly surprised!

Pineapple Coconut Margarita

Ok, so this might be my favorite cocktail EVER. This sugar-free keto cocktail is fruity and creamy and delish. And did I mention it has zero carbs? In my humble opinion, coconut and pineapple are a match made in flavor heaven. The coconut makes this cocktail mouth-wateringly creamy while the fruity tanginess of the pineapple cuts through the heaviness with a delicious zing. This is a great Summer drink, but I enjoy it all year round and I think you will too!

Raspberry Hibiscus Long Island Iced Tea

My keto-friendly, low carb, and sugar-free Long Island Iced tea is unbelievably delicious and for those who like em' strong. Let me tell you, this one is dangerous! It is still a mystery to me that a cocktail containing so much liquor, 4 shots in each drink to be exact, can taste so damn good. A traditional Long Island Iced Tea is made with sour mix and coke, two nasty ingredients that are found nowhere in the keto hemisphere. Plus, all the sugar will leave you feeling less than fresh the next morning. Instead, I've used organic hibiscus and raspberry teas in place of the coke and a keto-friendly mixer to sub for the sour mix. You will love this healthy twist on the beloved classic cocktail.

Keto Raspberry Hibiscus Long Island Iced Tea

Ingredients:

Serves 4

4 ounces(1/2 cup) silver tequila

4 ounces(1/2 cup)clear rum

4 ounces(1/2 cup)vodka

4 ounces(1/2 cup)gin

3 packets RSVP Skinnies Baja Margarita mix

1 can San Pellegrino blood orange and black raspberry sparkling water

3 cups raspberry and hibiscus tea

Juice of 2 lemons

Liquid stevia to taste

The night before or the morning of, steep 3 organic hibiscus tea bags and 3 raspberry tea bags in 3 cups of water for 30 minutes. Transfer to the refrigerator to cool. Next, in a large pitcher, mix all ingredients until fully combined. Do not add ice to the pitcher as it will water down your cocktail.

Serve in a glass over ice and garnish with lemon wedges.

Enjoy!

Below you'll find exactly what I used in my recipe. I strongly recommend using these brands as I've found that they yield the best tasting results. Some aren't available at your local grocery store, so I've included links to find them online. Click on the links to buy.

RSVP Skinnies Baja Margarita Mix Note: this makes a great sub for any cocktail that calls for sour mix

Strawberry Gin Fizz

This to-die-for cocktail is my spin on the classic Gin Fizz. The classic is made with lemon or lime juice. I've added fresh strawberries to brighten it up even more, which imparts an alluring pink color...ooh la la...c'est Magnifique. An egg white is added to create a thick, rich foam. When poured into the glass, this lighter than air marshmallowy foam delightfully rises to the top creating two distinct layers, which is quite gorgeous. This cocktail reminds me of old Hollywood. I can see Marilyn Monroe sipping on this chic libation at The Chateau Marmont.

Keto Strawberry Gin Fizz

Ingredients:

2 ounces(1/4 cup) Gin

4 strawberries

1 large egg white

Juice of 1 lemon

Liquid stevia to taste

Bubly strawberry sparkling water

Add all ingredients to a blender except for the sparkling water. Blend for about 10 seconds, then stop and add 4 ice cubes. Blend for an additional 20 seconds. Pour into a glass to fill about 1/3 of the way. Fill the rest of the way with strawberry sparkling water.

Note: the amount of time you blend will vary based on your blender as well as how much foam you prefer on top of your cocktail. I have a Vitamix blender, which is extremely powerful, so it doesn't take very long at all to create a thick foam.

French 75 Sparkling Champagne Cocktail

The bubbly champagne combined with the zesty lemon is nothing short of delightful. If you are looking for a light citrusy drink, you've found it here. Full of brightness, bubbles, and just a hint of sweetness, it's like sunshine in a glass!
